UP Board 12th Result 2023: Will UPMSP Score Cross 90%? Check Previous Years’ Analysis

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is all set to announce the UP Board Class 12 results for the year 2023 soon. The exams were conducted from February 16 till March 4, and a total of 27,69,258 students appeared for the exams. According to reports, the results are expected to be out by the end of the month. However, there is no confirmation from the officials yet.

Students can check their results on the official UP Board websites – upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in – once they are announced. To ease the anxiety and help you prepare for the results, here's a look at the pass percentage and analysis of the previous years.

In 2022, the overall pass percentage for the UP Board Class 12 exams was 85.33%, with 81.21% for boys and 90.15% for girls. A total of 22.37 lakh students had appeared for the exams.

However, in 2021, the pass percentage was 97.88%, with 14,74,317 male students registering against 11,36,930 female students. A total of 26,10,316 students had registered themselves for the Class 12 examination out of which 25,54,813 passed the exams.

The pass percentage for Class 12 in 2020 was 74.63%, with more than 25 lakh students registering for the UP Class 12 board exams. The pass percentage for girls was 81.96%, and for the boys, it was 68.88%.

In 2019, the overall pass percentage was 70.06%, with 12,47,375 boys and 11,04,674 girls registering for Class 12. Around 8,03,330 boys and 8,44,589 girls had cleared the exam.
