Sonam Kapoor Education Qualification:

Sonam studied at the Arya Vidya Mandir school in Juhu, Mumbai, and later attended the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore, where she pursued theatre studies and International Baccalaureate. After completing her studies, she returned to Mumbai and worked as an assistant director under Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film "Black" (2005).

Note: Sonam Kapoor did not complete her university education as she left midway to pursue a career in acting.

In 2007, Sonam made her acting debut with Bhansali's romantic drama "Saawariya," alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Although the film was a commercial failure, Sonam's performance was appreciated, and she received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She then appeared in a number of films such as "Delhi-6" (2009), "I Hate Luv Storys" (2010), and "Aisha" (2010), which earned her critical acclaim.

Sonam's breakthrough role came in the 2013 film "Raanjhanaa," in which she played the lead role of Zoya. Her performance was widely appreciated, and she received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She then went on to star in a number of successful films such as "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" (2013), "Khoobsurat" (2014), "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" (2015), and "Neerja" (2016).

"Neerja" was a biographical film based on the life of Neerja Bhanot, a flight attendant who lost her life while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 in 1986. Sonam's performance as Neerja was widely acclaimed, and she won the National Film Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress.
