India Wins Historic Gold in Men's Squash Team Event at 2023 Asian Games

India won the gold medal in the men's squash team event at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, defeating Pakistan in the final by a score of 2-1. The Indian team consisted of Saurav Ghosal, Abhay Singh, and Mahesh Mangaonkar.

Mahesh Mangaonkar lost the opening match to Pakistan's Nasir Iqbal, but Saurav Ghosal leveled the scores by defeating Muhammad Asim Khan. Abhay Singh then defeated Zaman Noor in the deciding match to clinch the gold medal for India.

This was India's second-ever gold medal in squash at the Asian Games. The previous one was also won by the men's team - at Incheon 2014. It is a historic achievement for Indian squash, and it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Indian players and coaches.
