PMGDISHA 2023

This campaign has been implemented for the citizens of rural areas of the country. The benefit of this PMGDISHA 2023 will be provided to those families in rural areas. Whose family member should not be digitally literate and no one in that family should have knowledge of computers (The member should not be digitally literate and no one in that family has knowledge of computers). A family consists of the head of the household, his wife, children and parents. Under this scheme, one member of a family will be given computer related training. Objective of Rural Digital Literacy Campaign

As you know that the rural citizens of the country are either illiterate or less educated. According to the survey conducted on education by the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) in the year 2014, only 6 percent of the rural families in India have There is a computer in the house. Which means that more than 15 crore families do not have a computer. Keeping all this in view, the Central Government has started the Pradhan Mantri Rural Digital Literacy Campaign to benefit the rural people. Features of Prime Minister Rural Digital Literacy Campaign

  • Under this scheme, it is planned to make at least one member of about 40 percent rural households in the country digitally literate by 31 March 2020.
  • Under this scheme, digital literacy will be provided to about 6 crore citizens of the country. Under PMGDISHA, about 52.5 lakh people will be provided IT training by 2020.
  • The beneficiaries of this scheme are identified by CSC-SPV in collaboration with District e-Governance Society (DeGS), Gram Panchayats and Block Development Officers.

Benefits of Pradhanmantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan 2023

  • The benefit of this campaign will be to provide computer training to one member of every family in the rural areas of the country.
  • A family is defined as a unit consisting of the head of the family, spouse, children and parents. All such households where no member of the family is digitally literate will be considered eligible households under this scheme.
  • Under Pradhanmantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan 2023, trained citizens will be made skilled in operating digital devices like computers, tablets, smart phones.
  • By getting training under this scheme, people can avail citizen services, health services, financial services by using internet in their daily life.
  • Rural people will be told about new methods of online booking.
  • Under the Rural Digital Literacy Campaign 2023, priority will be given to non-smartphone users, Antyodaya families, college dropouts, National Literacy Mission participants.
  • Students from class 9 to 12 who do not have digital literacy and computer training facilities are not available in their schools,
  • Along with this, priority is given to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Below Poverty Line (BPL), women, disabled and minorities.
  • The beneficiaries of this scheme will be identified by CSC-SPV in collaboration with District e-Governance Society (DeGS), Gram Panchayats and Block Development Officers.

How to apply for Prime Minister Rural Digital Literacy Campaign (PMGDISHA)?     

People from rural areas who want to apply under this scheme should follow the method given below.

  • First of all the applicant has to go to the official website . After visiting the official website, the home page will open in front of you. On this home page you will see the option of Direct Candidate .
  • You have to click on this option. After clicking on the option, the next page will open in front of you. The login form will open on this page.
  • Below this login form you will see the option of Register . You have to click on this option. After clicking on this option, the registration form will open in front of you.
  • In this registration form, you will have to fill all the asked information like UIDAI Number, Student Name, Gender, Date of Birth, etc. and read the instructions given below and click on the check mark.
  • After that you have to click on Add. After this, the next step on the next page is e-KYC which can be done either by scanning fingerprints or scanning eyes or by verifying the OTP in the mobile phone. Those who do not have a fingerprint scanner or retina scanner can choose the third option which is mobile phone OTP verification.
  • For this you will have to provide a valid mobile number, in which OTP will be sent. After entering the correct OTP, you will have to click on 'Validate OTP'.
  • Then you can check all your information by going to the Student Tab. Once the registration is done, students can open their new account by generating user ID and password.

Certificate of PM Rural Digital Literacy Campaign

You get PMGDISHA certificate after training. After training there is an online test. In this online test, 25 questions are asked, out of which if 7 are answered correctly, then the candidate passes the exam and will be given PMGDISHA certificate.

How to Open PMGDISHA Training Center

  • If the interested beneficiaries of the country want to open their own training center, then first of all they have to become CSC-SPV training partner.
  • The training partner can be any NGO, institute or company. There are certain criteria that must be met to become a partner. Like a training partner must be an organization registered in India,
  • Operating business in the field of education/IT literacy for more than three years and having Permanent Account Number (PAN) and audited statements of accounts for at least the last three years.

PMGDISHA Grievance Redressal Process
